Marc Wheeler
Mortician / Owner
Marc Wheeler is the owner and Mortician at Wheeler Bell Tower Funeral Home. Marc grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. He enjoys everything about growing up in Idaho; going to school, having a wonderful outdoor playground filled with many memories from all across Idaho, and the wonderful sense of community. Marc served a Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint in the Germany Munich/Austria Mission. He fell in love with food and German culture. After serving his mission Marc married his eternal companion Julia. Together they have three children: Todd, Elisabeth, and Evan.
After marrying Julia, Marc attended Idaho State University in Pocatello to work towards becoming a mortician. After attending Idaho State University, he was accepted into the Funeral Service Program at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, where he received his Funeral Service degree. Upon completion, Marc was able to return to Idaho as a mortician in eastern Idaho.
Marc and Julia are excited to live, work, and raise their young family in Salmon.
They hope to bring love, compassion, trust, service, and friendship to the people of Lemhi and Custer Counties.

Julia Wheeler
Office Assistant
Julia is Marc’s assistant in the office and with services. She grew up west of Blackfoot, Idaho by the small town called Moreland. Julia grew up with many of her friends being potato farmers, and every fall would enjoy being out in the fields with her friends during potato harvest. After graduating high school, Julia married her eternal companion, Marc.
Julia attended Idaho State University working towards a degree in nursing. While attending Idaho State University, Marc and Julia were blessed with their first child. After their second child was born Marc and Julia made the decision for her to stay home with their children. This career has been filled with great joy for her from seeing their children’s first steps, hearing first words, and seeing them succeed in their young lives. Julia has always stood by Marc through the ups and downs that came their way, and supported Marc in his schooling. She is an amazing woman, wife, and especially mother.
Marc and Julia are excited to live, work, and raise their young family in Salmon.
